The Young Actors Guild’s Spring program takes place February 24-May 5 on Saturdays. Students study, music, acting and dance in the classroom from 9:30 – 12:30. Classes are taught by professional staff. Students study music theory, group vocal, acting and improvisation and different styles of dance; and our productions offer practical application of those skills.
Our Spring semester culminates in a full scale production. Our productions are chosen based on registration and are announced once the semester begins. We then send out a rehearsal schedule and a commitment letter which allows the parent to know what the time commitment looks like to do both classes and the show. We choose our shows specifically to challenge and to accommodate the students who register each semester. Rehearsals for production are held on Saturday afternoons. Participation in the production is not mandatory. Students are welcome to do classes only
